About the Safeguarding of Children and Young People Level 3 Training Course
Our comprehensive Safeguarding Children and Young People Level 3 training course is specifically designed for managers and practitioners who have frequent interactions with children and young people. The Children Act 1989 serves as the cornerstone of legislation protecting vulnerable children and those in need of services.
At least one child dies from abuse or neglect every week in the UK alone, underscoring the critical importance of child safeguarding and the profound impact that good practice can have on a child’s life.
This advanced training is ideal for staff with overall responsibility for safeguarding within their organization, such as Safeguarding Leads. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of safeguarding and child protection legislation and guidance, empowering them to effectively respond to safeguarding incidents, allegations, and concerns.
Our Safeguarding Children Level 3 training covers key areas such as navigating the intricacies of safeguarding and child protection legislation and guidance, making informed contributions to safeguarding assessments and investigations, understanding and adhering to organizational safeguarding protocols and processes, providing comprehensive support to vulnerable children and their families, and expertly documenting safeguarding incidents, allegations, and concerns.
